Call To Adventure: Online Workshop
And so we awaken to the need to take more responsibility for our lives. For most of us a pretty hard-hitting life challenge is what awakens us. We realize that we need to renew our spirit, to come to life in a brand new way. A rebirth of ourselves – a Renaissance of Spirit. It takes a special kind of wisdom to choose to use a difficult life challenge as an opportunity for growth. This kind of choice comes from the realization that somehow we have contributed to or even created the challenge. Looking back over the years we can see certain patterns of how we think, feel, and act. We can see that often how we react to a challenge can have greater impact on our well-being than the challenge itself. We realize that we must take responsibility for our happiness. No one else will. No one will live for us and no one will die for us. We must do all this by ourselves. We must have a Renaissance of Spirit.

Music Video: “Renaissance Of Spirit”
Song Lyrics
I must have a renaissance of spirit
I must find my way back home
I must face it if I fear it
And make this life my own
To die and be reborn
To something deep in me
To die and be reborn
To finally be free
Oh, Oh
Renaissance of spirit
Renaissance of soul
Renaissance of spirit
My heart must know
I must have a renaissance of spirit
I must find out who I am
I will face it if I fear it
Oh, I know I can
Oh, I know I can
To die and be reborn
To something deep in me
To die and be reborn
To finally be free
Oh, Oh
Renaissance of spirit
Renaissance of soul
Renaissance of spirit
My heart must know
To follow my joy and peace
I must find it first
I must find my joy and peace
To quench this driving thirst
Renaissance of spirit
Renaissance of soul
Renaissance of spirit
My heart will know
The Important Questions To Ask Yourself
Answer the question(s) that best fits your problem or goal. Then listen or read you answer looking for insights.
1. What about my childhood might have set me up to have my current challenge?
Explain.
2. Am I willing to venture into the unknown parts of myself? My memories? To face my past? How? When?
Be specific.
3. I feel resistance to looking at the past. I don’t think my childhood has anything to do with my problems today.
What am I afraid I would feel or experience if I allowed myself to look?
4. Who or what would be upset if I allowed myself to look at the past?
Discuss.
5. I tend to deny any possibility of things being better.
What hidden benefit (to my inner child) might there be to deny this possibility?
6. I don’t think I should have to “stir the pot” of the past to be happy.
What about my past do I not want to face?
7. I don’t think my past has anything to do with my problems. I have already healed my childhood.
What current self-defeating patterns can I see that come directly from my childhood?
