Reincarnation Helps Make Sense of This World

Have you asked yourself or God, “Why is there so much pain and suffering in the world?” or “Why do innocent people, children, and animals suffer or die young?” If you believe that there is only one life and that everything is just by chance that might lead to depression, rage, or simply cutting off one’s feelings and disconnecting. This belief could lead to the attitude of “let’s have a party, anything goes.” But for those of you that feel things deeply and seek the answers to life’s perplexing questions you might consider reincarnation as a make-sense kind of explanation for what happens in the crazy and often violent world. Perhaps we are all here or a purpose and perhaps one of the purposes of our lives is to learn, to progress on our spiritual journey. One lifetime would hardly be enough time to accomplish all that we have to learn. Many lifetimes allows not only for time to learn but give a chance for karma (or justice) to prevail. An evil deed can be balanced in another lifetime where the evil-doer will experience some form of his or her doing. A child who dies young may come back and continue learning and loving. Pain could be seen as a teacher rather than a punishment or a make-no-sense horror. Think about it. Reincarnation can answer many compelling questions. Perhaps reincarnation isn’t just wishful thinking for those who are afraid of death. Perhaps it’s the perfect explanation for all that is.
