If you recognize that you have an addiction to any of your devices: cell phone, iPad, computer, etc. then you might consider setting some boundaries. For example you may decide to check your email only 3 times a day at specific times. Or you may limit your computer time to a certain amount of time by the clock. You get the picture. Device addiction can be time consuming and stress inducing. Setting boundaries may be a good way for you to deal with your addiction. If you do please remember that you will be experiencing a certain amount of what I call “healthy suffering.” That means that you will feel uncomfortable for a while until you adjust to your new device habits. That discomfort will be temporary. So have hope and enjoy your devices but don’t let them run you.
