Over the years I have read about, heard about, and listened to my own client’s stories about their past lives and near death experiences. What seems to be universal to all reports of this nature is the belief that there is something after death. Recently a Harvard neurologist had a near death experience while in a coma. While his brain was completely non-functioning due to his disease he had a conscious experience “on the other side” with his deceased sister who he had never met. Upon recovering he recognized her in a photo her adopted family had given him. His experience was so real that he claims that he can prove there is a “heaven.” Often people who have such experiences, and there are thousands of documented reports over the years, come away with a greater wisdom and knowledge of the nature of reality. Reincarnation is one of those realities that is often spoken of. Historically reincarnation has been a part of all major world religions. At about 325 A.D. Christianity was altered from its doctrine of reincarnation by the emperor Constantine for political reasons. Is reincarnation real? Consider this: when you observe the violence and pain in this world and look to find a reason for it, both reincarnation and karma explain fully the reason for how the world is.
