Courage is not the lack of fear. It is the willingness to persevere in spite of it. Warrior spirit, perseverance without compromise, is one of the single most powerful ways to achieve anything,..including happiness. Come from the highest in you, always ask, “What is the right thing to do,” find passion in it, and move forward step by step until you have achieved it. Expect the road to be bumpy. Expect to be discouraged. Expect others to disapprove. Move forward anyway. Historically it doesn’t seem to matter what your goal is. Given enough time and perseverance you are likely to achieve it. Most people’s mistake is giving up, becoming doubtful, listening to other people’s doubts and fears, and often quitting when just around the corner is a break. Say, “I want this. No. I really, really, really want this.” Narrow your eyes until you feel a glint coming from them. Set your jaw. Raise your fist. And similar to Scarlet O’Hara in Gone With The Wind say, “As God is my witness I will achieve this!” You cannot fail. Warrior spirit will get you through.
