Settling

Sometimes in life we have to settle. We can’t expect perfection in all things. But there is one area of life that if at all possible you shouldn’t settle. That’s in what you do every day, your job. You have heard the saying “follow your passion.” By doing what you love you guarantee that you will often experience a deep satisfaction. When you settle you choose a life of underlying frustration and longing. You settle when you are doing something just for the money or the power or the recognition. Not settling requires that you listen to your heart. You will know you are headed in the right direction when your heart beat goes up and you feel a kind of excitement in your belly. Once you know what your passion is you can figure out how to have it support you financially. Don’t settle. You will  be happy for all of your days.
