Past Life Regression Case Two: Acts of Karma

Chester had chronic depression from the time he was a child. While taking his history it became clear that his depression came from years of verbal and physical abuse as a child. The resulting therapy helped Chester enormously. However, Chester wanted to understand why he incarnated into such an abusive family. He understood the meaning of karma, the law of response to every action, and considered that he may have just had “bad karma.” But Chester could not stop asking himself the question, “Why! Why did I get those abusive parents!” So Chester asked if I would regress him back to a previous life that may have set the direction of his current life. During his trance Chester regressed back many life times. Each life showed a certain level of awareness, a consciousness of who he was. In many of his lifetimes he was without compassion and was often unknowingly abusive to others. As he observed with my help the progression of lifetimes and who he thought himself to be in those lifetimes he became aware that he had created his own karma through his unawareness and lack of compassion. The purpose of his current lifetime was to create enough pain for him to seek help in healing it and thus raise his awareness of himself and to develop compassion. Finally Chester could see and understand the reason for his unhappy childhood and could reach out to others with compassion.
