As a “regular” therapist it was rare in the past for a client to ask me to regress them to a past life. When Ron came to my office it was a surprise when he requested a past life regression. Ron was a very logical engineer and required scientific proof for most things. However, when he came to my office he was visibly shaken and convinced that I could help him with hypnosis. He told me that his company had just hired a new boss. He said the man was always reasonable, polite, and supportive. However to Ron he was an enormous threat. The minute he met him be began to shake and sweat. He was grabbed by an unexplainable terror of his “nice” boss. He was convinced that unless he was able to solve this problem that he would lose his job, a job he had for years. Ron knew he had to solve his fear of his boss. He said he couldn’t live another day in such fear. The lack of sleep alone was “killing” him. Ron wanted me to regress him to a past life to discover the reason for his irrational fear. I was unprepared for what was about to unfold. As we headed for the hypnosis room Ron began to sweat and shake. His voice changed and he could barely speak without tremors.
