Holly’s parents were abusive verbally. They were also dismissive. Whatever Holly did or achieved her parents would trivialize her achievement. Holly grew up thinking that she was not worthy. This feeling influenced all her relationship and whatever she did in life as an adult. She suffered from low self esteem and felt that no one would like her. When she came to my office seeking advice she worked very hard on healing her current childhood experiences. She felt exonerated and liberated to a high degree. She asked if she could be regressed back to the life time that set her up to have the parents she had in her current life. In her past life regression she discovered that she herself had trivialized others, making them feel like they had little value. As she looked she could see how she needed to experience the same thing in order to have compassion for others. This insight helped liberate her further. She no longer felt resentful for having the parents she had in her current life as they were literally her teachers. She saw that life is a huge classroom and whatever she experienced had something to teach her. Wisely she sought to learn her lessons by asking what it is for her to learn.
