In this time of cynicism, sarcasm, and doubt we need to find something that is fresh and innocent within ourselves. We have all be hurt in our lives. Few of us trust anyone any more. So many hidden agendas lurk behind smiling faces and false promises. There is a way to find that fresh start in life. Begin by seeking out the innocent and accepting child within you. It is true that even as children we were wounded and began to put up defensive walls to protect ourselves. See if you can find the child within yourself before you put up those defensive walls. It is by connecting with this part of yourself…before the wounding, that you can return to a place of quiet joy. Finding this part of yourself doesn’t mean you will naively trust anyone. You can still use your good judgment and call upon your intuition. But in finding your innocent child within you will find your salvation.
